Pakistani cricketer Salman Ali Agha made a strong statement in domestic cricket following his exclusion from the national team squad. After being sent home by national selectors, the batter focused on returning to basics to rebuild his form ahead of domestic competition.

Salman responded to his national team axing by registering a century that ultimately grew into a maiden triple century during the opening phase of the President's Trophy tournament.

The domestic season commenced with the President's Trophy Grade-I fixtures, including the first match between Ghani Glass and Khan Research Laboratories scheduled at Peshawar from September 12 to 15, 2026.
